On Saturday, police conducted a raid in Chanda village, Naya Bhojpur police station area in Buxar, based on a tip-off, and discovered an illegal mini gun factory. The police seized a large quantity of semi-finished pistols and equipment used for manufacturing weapons from the site. Seven individuals, including a retired teacher whose home housed the gun factory, have been arrested. The police are now investigating the network behind the operation. SP Manish Kumar received confidential information indicating that a mini gun factory was being operated at the residence of Virendra Kumar Srivastava in Chanda village. Following the tip-off, the SP formed a team under Dumraon DSP, which carried out the raid and exposed the gun factory. The police recovered pistols, tiger plates, cork rods, barrels, butt stocks, drill machines, lathe machines, a grinder machine, and three mobile phones from the site.
