Airforce sergeant made fake call of bomb in Rajdhani Express, arrested

On Saturday, a person called at the New Delhi Railway station and informed about the presence of a bomb in the Rajdhani Express going from Delhi to Mumbai. The call came at 4.15 pm. Soon after, Delhi Police and Bomb Disposal Squad started searching the train. With the help of technical surveillance, the caller was identified and his details were extracted. During investigation, the accused caller was found drunk in the train.

After his arrest, he told that he had made a false call to stop the train. He has been identified as Sergeant Sunil Sangwan of the Indian Air Force. He is posted at the Air Force Station in Santa Cruz, Mumbai. Delhi Police is probing the matter.
