In the Sidhu Musewala murder case, Punjab Police has arrested a person named Devendra alias Kala from Fatehabad, Haryana. Kala is the third suspect to be arrested in this case. Kala was arrested on the basis of inputs received from the interrogation of two already arrested suspects. Police had received information that Kala had kept two suspected Moosewala killers Keshav and Charanjit in his house on May 16-17. Eight sharp shooters who carried out this massacre have been identified.

The Enforcement Directorate (ED) on Monday morning raided the residence of Delhi’s Health Minister Satyendar Jain. Satyendra Jain has a money laundering case registered against him and is in ED custody till June 9. Officials said that raids are being conducted at Jain’s houses and some other places in Delhi. Jain, 57, was arrested on May 30. A case has been registered against Jain, his wife Poonam Jain and others in the case of disproportionate assets and money laundering.

On 7 March 2006, there was a serial blast at Sankatmochan Mandir and Cantt station in Varanasi. The verdict has come after 16 years in this case.
