7 people have been arrested in Haridwar with old 500 and 1000 notes. The value of these notes is Rs 4.47 crore. Haridwar’s SP City Swatantra Kumar said that the Special Task Force (STF) arrested them on Saturday. The arrested people are being questioned about the notes. The information received from them will be shared with Income Tax and other departments.

Of the 7 arrested accused, 3 are local and 4 are residents of Moradabad and Amroha districts of Uttar Pradesh. According to the police, this gang was in contact with an RBI official. With the help of the officer, he was trying to change the old currency.
