The presidential election has reached its peak. Voting will take place on 18 July. On Wednesday, Congress and UPA-backed candidate Yashwant Sinha has reached Bhopal for campaigning. BJP and NDA candidate Draupadi Murmu is going to come on Friday. Even before this, the BJP has started trying to make 28 tribal MLAs of Congress and one independent MLA Kedar Davar cross-voting. In this work, along with senior party leaders, MP Sumer Singh Solanki, Samatiya Uikey and others have been engaged.

All this exercise is going on at the behest of the central leadership. Senior BJP MLAs are reaching out to Congress MLAs with the help of tribal organizations. A letter of request is also being given to her in the meeting, in which it is appealed that Draupadi Murmu will be the first woman President of the country to come from tribal or tribal class, so vote for her listening to the conscience. CMO officers are also engaged in this work. On the other hand, Congress is also hopeful that as in the past, BJP MLAs Narayan Tripathi and Sharad Kaul along with some may vote in favor of Yashwant Sinha.

However, the BJP is keeping an eye on all these MLAs. If BJP sources are to be believed, two-three MLAs of Gwalior-Chambal have also been contacted so that their votes can be got. Let us inform here that the value of vote of a BJP MLA is 131.
