Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra reached Suket town of Kota district at around 3.30 pm on Tuesday afternoon.

Rahul Gandhi’s Bharat Jodo Yatra in Rajasthan ended on the second day at Hiriya Khedi in Kota. The journey of 22.5 kilometers was completed at around 6 pm. From here onwards, Rahul Gandhi left for Moru Kala in Dara by vehicles. Night stay at Moru Kala, about 42 km from Kota city. There will be no street corner meeting of Rahul Gandhi today.

Earlier, the second phase of the yatra started from Deori Ghata in Jhalawar district and entered Kota district. On Tuesday, the second phase of the yatra started at 3.30 pm.

Suddenly a boar entered the journey. The security personnel immediately chased him away. Rahul’s convoy stopped for tea break at Jai Mata Di Dhaba, 3 km before Kota’s Hiriya Khedi Highway at around 5 pm. The journey started again at around 5.15 pm. By about quarter to six in the evening, the journey of 20 km had been completed.

The yatra, which started from Jhalawar’s sports complex at around 6 am, took a lunch break after completing the ten kilometer journey.

Rahul Gandhi stopped for tea break at this Jai Mata Di Dhaba, about 3 km before Hiriya Khedi in Kota. From here, the journey went ahead at around 5.15 pm.

During the press conference after the first phase of the yatra on Tuesday morning, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar attacked the BJP and said that the BJP crossed all limits in the Gujarat elections. He said that on the day of voting, BJP campaigned in PM Modi’s road show.

Earlier in the morning schedule of Bharat Jodo Yatra, Rahul Gandhi and the passengers were seen mingling with the cultural colors of Rajasthan. When the yatra passed in front of the district BJP office, everyone smiled seeing Rahul’s reaction. In fact, many people had gathered at the BJP office since morning to watch the yatra. When Rahul’s eyes fell on him, he greeted people by giving a flying kiss.

Meanwhile, the Rajasthan Congress got a new in-charge on the very day of the Yatra’s entry in Rajasthan. Senior Punjab leader Sukhjinder Singh Randhawa has been appointed in-charge by the party following Maken’s resignation. Randhawa has also been nominated as a member of the Congress Steering Committee.

In Tuesday's journey, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot, former Deputy Chief Minister Sachin Pilot and Congress State President Govind Singh Dotasara are also accompanying since morning.  Apart from these, other leaders including KC Venugopal are also visible from the central leadership.  As soon as the journey of the second phase started, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot got out of the car.

Rahul Gandhi is focusing on soft Hindutva during the yatra. They can also visit some of the temples that come along the route of the yatra. A day earlier, Rahul had targeted the BJP-RSS over the slogans of Jai Siyaram and Hey Ram. He said- BJP will have to say Jai Siyaram.

During the Bharat Jodo Yatra, Congress leader Kanhaiya Kumar made several allegations against the Bharatiya Janata Party in Kota on Tuesday. He said that the BJP crossed all limits in the Gujarat elections. Children in school dress were brought to BJP rallies during the elections. BJP was promoted in PM’s road show on the day of election voting.

He said that either allow campaigning on the day of voting, otherwise the rules are same for all. Kanhaiya said that the Chief Minister has changed like clothes in Gujarat. Kanhaiya Kumar said, the purpose of this yatra is not election but emotion.
