Sangh chief Mohan Bhagwat has also given a big statement amid the debate on population. Bhagwat said that animals also do the work of increasing the population and eating. It is necessary to remain the strongest in the jungle. Only the strong will survive, this is the law of the jungle. This is not the case in humans. When the mighty in humans protects others, then it is a sign of humanity. Bhagwat was speaking at the first convocation of Sri Sathya Sai University for Human Excellence in Chikkaballapur, Karnataka.

Bhagwat said – India developed by taking lessons from history
The Sangh chief also spoke on the development of the country. He said that the country has made a lot of progress recently. The countrymen have seen development. We have developed by taking lessons from history and looking towards the future. If someone had said this 10-12 years ago, it would not have been taken seriously. The development which is visible today, its foundation was laid in 1857. However, the lack of balance between all this between science and the outside world is clearly visible.

Former cricketer Sunil Gavaskar was presented an honorary degree during the convocation.

Bhagwat said during the convocation that if someone’s language is different, religion is different, even the country is different, then it is the root of the dispute. There has always been a conflict between environment and development. Excellence can be achieved only through spirituality, because science has not yet understood the origin of creation. Science only found that everything is interconnected, but it could not find the connecting factor. During this, former ISRO chairman K Kasturirangan, former Indian cricket captain Sunil Gavaskar, singer Pandit M Venkatesh Kumar were also present.

Population debate in India after UN report
Bhagwat’s statement has come after a debate has started among the leaders of the country regarding population imbalance. Earlier, the United Nations (UN) had said in its report that India will overtake China in terms of population in a few days. The UN released this report on the occasion of World Population Day.
