Bengal TET 2014 exam scam: Mamata Banerjee, Amit Shah also pass; Shubhendu Adhikari got full 100 marks

West Bengal Teacher Eligibility Test (TET 2014) result list has come out. Surprisingly, Mamta Banerjee has got 92 marks while Bengal BJP leader Shubhendu Adhikari has got full 100 marks. Dilip Ghosh and Sujan Chakraborty have also got 92 marks. Home Minister Amit Shah’s name is also in this list. This list has been released by the West Bengal Board of Primary Education (WBBPE).

Actually the investigation of this recruitment scam is going on in the state. There has been a stir after the names of prominent leaders of West Bengal surfaced in its merit list. A group of lawyers have taken up the issue with Justice Abhijit Gangopadhyay of the Calcutta High Court. These lawyers have appealed to the court to find out whether the big leaders whose names are in this list are candidates for the exam or not.

In fact, there have been allegations regarding the TET merit list of 2014 that many ineligible people were given jobs. The complete result list of this test has come out for the first time. The scores of the candidates are also given in this list. It contains the names of 1,25,000 candidates.

Former Education Minister Partha Chatterjee’s name was also in the list.
Former Bengal Education Minister Partha Chatterjee and Education Board Chairman Gautam Pal are also in this list. Partha Chatterjee’s name came in the teacher recruitment scam. About 50 crore cash and gold jewelery were recovered in the raids on the houses of his close friend Arpita Mukherjee.

Was arrested by ED on July 23, accused of money laundering
On July 23, the ED arrested Parth from his official residence in Kolkata on charges of money laundering in connection with the teacher recruitment scam. Parth was accused of wrongly taking money instead of giving a job when he was a minister. Mamta Banerjee sacked Parth from the cabinet 5 days after his arrest.
