New Delhi: Every Bollywood movie seems to be competing to get the perfect wedding song right. In the upcoming film ‘Bawaal’ starring Varun Dhawan and Janhvi Kapoor, ‘Dilon Ki Doriyan’ is the latest addition to the already overflowing wedding numbers playlist. The song has been filmed around the film’s main leads pre-wedding celebrations. Dilon Ki Doriyan has been sung by Vishal Mishram, Zahrah S Khan and Romy. The song has been written by Arafat Mehmood with music by Tanishk Bagchi.
In the song video, we see Janhvi and Varun dance to the slow romantic track that does not look like a wedding song at all.

Meanwhile, ‘Bawaal’ has been directed by Nitesh Tiwari and shot in portions of Paris, Berlin, Amsterdam, Krakow and Warsaw in Poland. The film will be released on Prime Video on July 21. The story is about a newly-married couple who go on a honeymoon in Europe. The film is also set against the backdrop of World War 2, or as the trailer suggests.
In an interview with Hindustan Times, Janhvi Kapoor shared that ‘Bawaal’ gave her a lot of scope to perform. She said, “As actors we play roles that are either made for us or ones that we adapt to. But rarely do we get the opportunity to embody a role so coveted that offers an actor more scope to perform. In this unique romantic tale, Nisha is seemingly a simple girl with hopes and dreams, but she’s so endearing that she makes you want to feel every emotion that she is experiencing. In Bawaal, Nisha is taking a journey that will make you look beyond the surface into her life, her love, and everything in between.”
‘Bawaal’ will be released on Amazon Prime Video on July 21, 2023.
