A Kashmiri Hindu was murdered in Kakren village of Kulgam district of Jammu and Kashmir. It is believed that the terrorists have gone out of control before PM Modi’s visit and are targeting Hindus. At the same time, people are preparing to flee due to increasing attacks.

Last Wednesday evening in Kakren village, terrorists gunned down Satish Singh (50) with bullets on the doorstep of his house. After his murder, hundreds of people started coming to the house. Everyone is asking that why did you kill Satish? What was his fault? His wife and three daughters are in bad condition.

The family did not leave the valley on the persuasion of the administration.
Satish Singh was a driver by profession. After his murder, the family kept requesting the administration to send a car to go to Jammu and said that we will perform the last rites of Satish in Jammu itself. However, on the assurance of the administration’s security, the family agreed. There are 8 houses of Rajputs in the village. All of them have been living here for 100 years. Local Jagdish Singh told that till now there was no fear here, but now everything is changing. People here are thinking of migrating.

Gul Mohammad, a local resident, said that this never happened here. There was no violence here even in the brutal 1990s. This is the first time such a murder has happened in the village. For the first time in 32 years, Kashmiri Pandits celebrated Navreh festival in large numbers at Sharika Devi and Durganag temples on 3rd April. In this program, Kashmiri Pandits who arrived from all over the country had announced to return to the valley within a year. Since then there have been 6 attacks on migrants and Kashmiri Hindus in 11 days.

Recently, targeted killing of Hindu people is being done in the valley. Earlier a Kashmiri Pandit was fired upon in Shopian. After that in Pulwama also outside workers were shot. Experts say that the security in the valley is very strict. The administration has given orders to seize the houses of the terrorists’ safe havens. Terrorists have been stunned by this.

Prime Minister Modi is coming to Jammu on 24th April. It seems that terrorists are targeting Hindus to show their presence. A letter from a terrorist organization Lashkar-e-Islami has also been found in Baramulla, in which Hindu people have been threatened.
