Attack on Delhi High Court lawyer in Panipat: miscreants hit the car, hit it with sticks and swords

A major incident was carried out by Rohit Bhargava, Senior Advocate of Delhi High Court near village Babarpur on NH-44 in Panipat district of Haryana. The car of a lawyer stopped at a dhaba was hit by unidentified miscreants while backing him. When lawyer Rohit Bhargava opposed the miscreants, they attacked with sticks, swords and also broke his car. The miscreants then fled, threatening to kill them.

The lawyer reported the matter to the police. On the basis of the complaint, the police have registered a case against unknown miscreants under sections 148, 149, 323, 324, 427 and 506 of IPC.

Lawyers stayed for only about 10 minutes
In the complaint given to the Sadar police station, Rohit Bhargava told that he is a resident of Anand Vihar, Delhi. He is a lawyer in Delhi High Court. On 9 November, he was going to Kasoli in his car with his son and two friends. Late at around 3:30 pm, he stopped his car at Sagar Dhaba near village Babarpur on National Highway in Panipat for some food and drink.

After about 10 minutes, they started going towards their car with the goods from here. During this time he saw that a Kwid car driver was backing his car with high speed and carelessness. He hit his car fast while backing up.

When he hit the car, the advocate stopped him. On this matter, about 6-7 youths standing near the car suddenly attacked him. The accused youths attacked the advocate with sticks, sticks and kicks. Meanwhile, the driver of the Kwid car also got down with a sword.

He inflicted many blows on his waist, head and hands with the sword. Not only this, the accused damaged his car by raining sticks. After committing the crime, the accused fled, threatening to kill the advocate on the matter of taking legal action.
