To apply for Junior Engineer positions, candidates need a Diploma in Engineering.

The online application process for PHED Recruitment 2023 started on November 3 and will be open until December 2 for AE and December 5 for JE.

The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has issued an official notice for the recruitment of Assistant Engineer (AE) and Junior Engineer (JE) positions in the Public Health Engineering Department (PHED). This recruitment drive is for 345 open positions in the Engineering department.The online application process for PHED Recruitment 2023 started on November 3 and will be open until December 2 for AE and December 5 for JE. There are a total of 345 vacancies, including 264 Junior Engineer positions and 81 Assistant Engineer positions.

    Eligibility Criteria

    To apply for Junior Engineer positions, candidates need a Diploma in Engineering, while for Assistant Engineer roles, a BE or B. Tech degree in the relevant field is required.

    AE applicants should be between 21 and 38 years, and JE applicants should be between 18 and 38 years. SC/ST candidates are eligible for a 5-year age relaxation, OBC candidates for a 3-year relaxation, and PWDB candidates for a 10-year relaxation in the maximum age limit.

    Salary

    Junior Engineers will receive a salary in the range of Rs 14,000 to Rs 70,000 with a grade pay of Rs 8,700. Assistant Engineers will be entitled to a salary ranging from Rs 30,000 to Rs 1,10,000 with a grade pay of Rs 12,700.
