As heavy rains continue to lash Assam, more than four million people across 33 districts have been impacted. Meanwhile, army, paramilitary, NDRF and state forces have launched relief and rescue operations.
In Meghalaya too, rains and floods have wreaked havoc in many places of the East Jaintia Hills.
