According to a recent report, Srijita Asansol is receiving salary from the Purnigam headquarters and also from the Raniganj borough office. He has been paid twice a month for 21 consecutive months. Ghulam Sarwar, Congress councilor of Purnigam, recently made this allegation. It is learned that Sreejitha joined the service at the headquarters of Asansol Purnigam in 2020. Shortly afterwards, he was transferred to the Raniganj Borough Office. Although he was transferred, his name was on the list of salaried employees at the headquarters of Asansol Purnigam. Similarly, the contract worker has taken a salary of Tk 10,000 twice a month. But the opposition has started raising the question of how Purnigam is getting salary from two places.
In this context, Asansol Purnigam Mayor Bidhan Upadhyay said, ‘- We wanted to protest. But I found out that he is a cancer patient. So I gave up for the sake of humanity.
