Sidhu turned his back on the question of bail to Majithia
The Congress has suffered a major setback in Punjab ahead of the elections after Akali leader Bikram Majithia, named in the drugs case, got anticipatory bail. Congress was capitalizing on this issue for action against drugs in the elections. However, now Majithia will come out soon, due to which Akali Dal’s attack on Congress will intensify.
Punjab Congress chief Navjot Sidhu kept silence on the issue of anticipatory bail to Majithia. He had come to Moga to get Bollywood star Sonu Sood’s sister Malvika Sood to join Congress. When Sidhu was asked about this, he left smiling without saying anything.

At the same time, CM Charanjit Channi said that Majithia has only got anticipatory bail. The case is not over. Majithia has been asked to join the investigation on Wednesday.

After this, Sidhu continued to say that he has got a big action done against drugs. Sidhu said that this action was taken when he got the DGP changed. Sidhu also kept on saying that the knack of registering a case would not work, but Majithia would have to be arrested. However, the Channi government could not nab Majithia.
