amarinder singh: ‘You reap what you sow’: Amarinder Singh takes a dig at Harish Rawat | India News – Times of India

NEW DELHI: Former Punjab chief minister Amarinder Singh on Wednesday posted a revenge tweet against his former colleague Harish Rawat, who played a key role during the Punjab Congress crisis as the party incharge for the state.
“You reap what you sow!”, tweeted Amarinder as the former chief minister of Uttarakhand today went public with his disenchantement with the Congress leadership ahead of assembly polls in the state.

Harish Rawat and Amarinder Singh shared a stormy relation as the crisis in Punjab Congress peaked.
Rawat initially backed Amarinder as the latter fought a bitter political battle against Navjot Singh Sidhu. However, later as the party decided to throw its weight behind Sidhu, Rawat questioned Amarinder’s achievements as chief minister.
Amarinder eventually quit the party after he was forced to step down as the chief minister. He formed his own party and has tied up with the BJP for the Punjab assembly elections.
Harish Rawat, in a series of cryptic tweets on Wednesday, expressed strong displeasure and unhappiness over the state of affairs in the party and sought “guidance from God.”
In remarks that appear to be directed against the Congress leadership, Harish Rawat said “the representatives of the leaders on whose directions I have to swim in the sea of elections are tying up my hands and feet.”
“Isn’t it a strange thing. Have to swim across the sea of electoral battle, but the organisational structure instead of lending a helping hand is obstructing and playing a negative role at most places,” Rawat tweeted.
