Amaran domestic & worldwide collection

On Firday, ‘Amaran’ collected Rs. 19.25 cr across all languages-Tamil,Kannada, Telugu, Malayalam and HIndi, as per industry tracking site Sacnilk.com. While the business is naturally lower than the opening day figures, this dip was quite expected.

Amaran’s overseas collection trend also has quite a positive response. Trade analyst AB George also shared the film’s business on social media. He wrote, “#Amaran is super strong in the box office. The film is expected to gross ₹68 crore in its first two days; overseas collection crossed $2.7 million, indicating a terrific hold globally. As per the trend, #Amaran is going to achieve 100 cr tomorrow and have a 130 cr+ opening weekend worldwide. #Sivakarthikeyan #AmaranDiwali.”

Amaran’s two day box office figures stand at Rs. 40.65 cr with the worldwide collection expected to be over Rs. 80 cr. By Saturday, ‘Amaran’ is likely to cross Rs. 100 cr globally.

Amaran benchmarks

By the end of the first weekend, ‘Amaran’ should be able to beat Kamal Haasan’s ‘Indian 2’, whose global gross was at Rs. 148 cr.

If the film is able to achieve this benchmark, ‘Amaran’ will become of the top four highest-earning Tamil hits of 2024, leaving behind Dhanush’a ‘Raayan’, Rajinikanth’s ‘Vettaiyan’ and Vijay’s ‘The Greatest of All Time’.

‘Amaran’ has already crossed the opening day record of ‘Raayan’ ( Rs. 13.65 cr) and will now overtake its worldwide gross of Rs. 154 cr.

Interestingly, ‘Amaran’ is holding solid ground despite the release of two big-budget Bollywood films: ‘Singham Again’ and ‘Bhool Bhualiyaa 3’.
