Alia Bhatt All praise for Gully Boy co-star Ranveer singh 83 for this upcoming film. Ahead of the film’s release, Alia took to her Instagram handle to write a heartfelt note congratulating Kabir Khan and Ranveer for the film based on India’s 1983 World Cup win.
Sharing a poster of the film, Alia wrote on her Instagram story, ‘Hey! 83! Kabir sir, I have so much to say and still I have no words. This is not a film that can be boxed in one post with a few adjectives! It is an experience – a piece of history that is nothing less than magic! There were moments when I wanted to scream, cry and dance at the same time! Pride, happiness, unity, friendship, inspiration, I mean the list could go on. You turn out to be a different person after watching this gorgeously beautiful movie! Thank you for this movie!”

Many celebrities have praised Ranveer’s film and performance in it. on Thursday Karan Johar He also wrote a warm note celebrating the film’s release in theaters today. He wrote, “It is not easy to tell a true story… a true description of a milestone event in Indian sports history! Cinematic license for dramatic effect and no room for distortion of facts…which is why #83thefilm is such a huge achievement….it takes you into that year…that world cup, that team , that political climate, that madness hysteria… I found myself rooting for every member of that historical team… with each of them laughing and crying… I found myself rooting for Kabir Khan and his Storytelling ability…. Alia and Ranveer were last seen in Zoya Akhtar’s Gully Boy. The two will share screen-space once again in Karan Johar’s Rocky and Rani’s love story, starring Shabana Azmi, Jaya Bachchan and Dharmendra in important roles.
Apart from Ranveer, the film also stars stars. Deepika Padukone, Pankaj Tripathi, Tahir Raj Bhasin, Saqib Saleem, Hardy Sandhu, Neena Gupta, Amy Virk, Jeeva, Boman Irani and others.
The film is all set to release in theaters today (24th December). It will clash with Aanand L Rai’s Atrangi Re, starring Sara Ali Khan. Bow And Akshay Kumar, which is releasing on the same day on Disney+Hotstar.
