The country’s intelligence agencies have issued a terror attack alert to the Punjab Police. After which keeping vigilance, the nakas have been increased on the routes coming from other states towards Punjab. Not only this, the checking of suspicious vehicles on the roads has also been increased. Intelligence agencies have expressed the possibility of target killing.

According to the alert received by the Punjab Police from intelligence agencies, Pakistan’s intelligence agency ISI has prepared a new strategy to spread terror in Punjab. Target killing can be attempted with the help of Sikh terrorist organizations. After which the Punjab Police has increased vigilance on the routes coming from Jammu-Kashmir, Haryana and Rajasthan.

Haryana was alerted in the past
Recently, the National Investigation Agency (NIA) had also sent an alert to the Haryana Police. In which the Sikh radical groups, along with the terrorist organizations of Jammu and Kashmir, are alluring the youth of Haryana. Their aim is only to spread terror in Punjab.

Youth are being lured abroad
Central intelligence agencies have received input that terrorist organizations are luring the youth of Punjab and Haryana to join them. They are being lured to settle abroad and pay money for a luxury life. Not only this, ISI is also continuously sending arms consignments through Jammu-Kashmir and Punjab border.

Target killing increased in Jammu and Kashmir
Talking about the past, there has been an increase in target killing in Jammu and Kashmir as well. In this, Hindus who helped Hindus or were sitting on high positions were targeted. ISI is now thinking of implementing this theory in Punjab. In Punjab too, youths are being instigated for target killing in collaboration with terrorist organizations.
