Akhil should be dismissed from the ministerial post, Shuvendur’s letter to the governor, the Assembly may be in turmoil

Akhil Giri has been criticized by his own party for making offensive comments about the President. In this situation, the opposition BJP has raised the demand of dismissing his ministerial post. Leader of the Opposition in the Legislative Assembly Subvendu Adhikari has already written a letter to Governor La Ganesan and wants to meet him. Subhendu wants to go to the Raj Bhavan to inform the court of dismissing Akhil Giri’s ministry.

In a letter written to the governor, Subvendu Adhikari said, ‘Minister of State with Independent Charge of Prisons Department Akhil Giri insulted President Draupadi and said very bad things. The President of India is our constitutional head and he is the head of the armed forces of India. To insult him is to insult the country. Hon’ble President belongs to tribal community. In this climate, the minister’s comments prove how anti-tribal his mentality is.’

Meanwhile, in view of Akhil Giri’s comments about Draupadi Murmu, BJP’s tribal legislators may bring a censure motion in the assembly. BJP Scheduled Morcha President and Habibpur MLA Jewel Murmu indicated the same on Saturday. He said that the eight tribal MLAs of the BJP will appeal to the Leader of the Opposition Subvendu Adhikari so that the censure motion against the Ramnagar MLA will be presented in the winter session by the parliamentary party. In this atmosphere, Jewel said, ‘We belong to the tribal community. Although we are a backward community, we have respect. There are no words to condemn the manner in which President Draupadi Murmu has been attacked.’

Meanwhile, Trinamool tweeted that they do not support Akhil Giri’s comments in any way. In this atmosphere, Akhil Giri, who is known as the rightist opposition, has been facing criticism from home and abroad. It is known that he will write a letter to the President and apologize in this regard.
