In Delhi, the student wing of the Aam Aadmi Party i.e. Chhatra Yuva Sangharsh Samiti has protested fiercely on Friday against the Agneepath Recruitment Scheme. The protesters demand that this scheme should be withdrawn and the permanent recruitment process should be started. A huge police force was present to disperse these protesters. Section 144 has been imposed in Gurugram amid ongoing outrage over the Agneepath scheme. There is a complete ban on the gathering of four people together. Police deployment has been increased at major intersections of the city. Orders issued to deal strictly with road jammers. Violence broke out in Palwal yesterday over the plan and mobile internet and SMS were suspended for 24 hours. Apart from this, Ballabhgarh in Faridabad is also facing 24-hour connectivity blackout.
The services that have been suspended for the time being include mobile international, SMS including bulk messaging and mobile network based donals. Banking and mobile recharge is not included in this. Administrative officials believe that this step will help in maintaining law and order and prevent the spread of rumours.
