Mysuru: Chandrakalaa 30-year-old woman advocate, was found dead at her house in Ramakrishnanagar early on Saturday.
Her husband Pradeep, a businessman, has been arrested on charges of dowry death. Chandrakala’s sister has filed a police complaint with Kuvempunagar police, accusing Pradeep of demanding dowry and harassing her younger sister.
Chandrakala leaves behind their one-year-old daughter, who was at home at the time of her death.
DCP (law and order) Pradeep Gunti said Chandrakala was found hanging from a ceiling fan early on Saturday. Her husband has been arrested on charges of dowry death and investigation is under way. TNN
