Act on complaint of Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu’s sister, NCW tells Ludhiana police | Ludhiana News – Times of India

LUDHIANA: The National Commission for Women (NCW) has asked the Ludhiana police in Punjab to act upon a complaint filed by Congress leader Navjot Singh Sidhu’s half-sister Suman Toor against him.
The NCW also directed the police to submit an action-taken report in 15 days.
The commission, in its letter to the Ludhiana police, said a petition had been received from Toor, a resident of Ludhiana.
“The complaint pertains to the alleged deprivation of property rights/ right to live with dignity. You are, therefore, requested to look into the matter and take appropriate action…The action taken in the matter may please be communicated to the commission within 15 days from the date of receipt of this letter,” said the letter.
Ludhiana joint commissioner of police (rural) said an inquiry had been marked to him, but he was yet to read the context of the complaint.
