AAP’s mission Gujarat: Kejriwal and Mann reached Sabarmati Ashram in Ahmedabad, spun a spinning wheel, Congress leader said – Mahatma Gandhi is the name of compulsion for ‘AAP’

After conquering Punjab, Aam Aadmi Party’s convener Arvind Kejriwal is now eyeing the Gujarat Assembly elections. In view of this, Kejriwal and Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Mann reached Gujarat on a two-day tour today. Both the leaders first went to Sabarmati Ashram and also spun a spinning wheel there. After this both will do a road show in Ahmedabad.

Kejriwal told the media on this occasion that I have come to the ashram to pay tribute to Gandhiji. This is the first time I have come to Gandhi Ashram after becoming the CM of Delhi.

Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann said that I have come from the land of freedom fighters. The people of Gujarat have been agitators. The people here will play their role for the security and progress of the country.

Road show named as Tiranga Yatra
Manoj Sorathia, General Secretary of Aam Aadmi Party Gujarat has named this roadshow as ‘Tiranga Yatra’. Following the vandalism outside Arvind Kejriwal’s house in Delhi, the Gujarat AAP unit has asked city police commissioner Sanjay Srivastava to take additional security measures to protect the two leaders.

If the party leaders are to be believed, then two Chief Ministers will join this road show together. This will boost the morale of the workers. At the same time, a big message will also go out among the people of Gujarat that Aam Aadmi Party is going to contest the Gujarat elections with full vigor this time.

Many people accused the Aam Aadmi Party of being an outsider and said that Gujaratis would give their vote to the BJP only. A Twitter user named Pritesh Patel wrote that ‘Gujaratis are not going to get trapped, no one takes freebies and even if they take, they will vote for BJP only’.
