Actor Aamir Khan said- PM Modi has won people’s trust through Mann Ki Baat programme. Trust is something that does not come on its own. It has to be earned and PM Modi has earned this trust of the people. He was speaking at the ‘Mann Ki Baat@100’ conclave on Wednesday.
The 100th episode of Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s radio program Mann Ki Baat will air on Sunday, April 30. The program’s first episode aired on October 3, 2014. Prasar Bharati organized a conclave to celebrate the 100th episode. In this, Union Home Minister Amit Shah released commemorative coin and postage stamp.
Information and Broadcasting Minister Anurag Thakur and Railway Minister Ashwini Vaishnav also participated in the programme.
Aamir said – Modi taught to lead through dialogue
In the conclave, actor Aamir Khan said that Mann Ki Baat program is the best way of dialogue. This program has a great impact on the public. How to lead through dialogue is known by listening to Mann Ki Baat. Through this, PM discusses important issues with the public, keeps his views and also advises them. They tell how they see the future and how they want public cooperation in it.
Aamir also participated in a panel discussion at Shaan Conclave.
Shah said – Prime Minister took Akashvani to the youth
Amit Shah said that in the changing times, people were forgetting Akashvani. In such a situation, PM made All India Radio a medium for Mann Ki Baat and took All India Radio to the young generation. Through Mann Ki Baat, Modi ji told the people of the country about the people and organizations who give right and positive direction to the society by using small experiments.

More than 100 people from across the country attended the conclave
Apart from Aamir Khan, Raveena Tandon, Deepa Malik, former Puducherry Lieutenant Governor Kiran Bedi, music composer Ricky Kej, player Nikhat Zareen, storyteller Nilesh Mishra, businessman Sanjeev Bhikchandani, TV Mohandas Pai were also present in the conclave. Apart from these, about 100 such people from across the country participated, who have been mentioned by the Prime Minister in various episodes of ‘Mann Ki Baat’.
Vice President Dhankhar, the chief guest at the conclave, also released a coffee table book and a book ‘Collective Spirit, Concrete Action’ written by SS Vempati, former CEO of Prasar Bharati. In this, the aspects of Prime Minister’s conversation have been documented.
Artifacts gifted to guests
Art works created by artists from across the country were gifted to the guests at the conclave. These artists were praised by PM Modi in Mann Ki Baat programs. Vice President Jagdeep Dhankhar was presented with a Kavi painting from Goa.
Pattachitra paintings on stone and wooden toys from Andhra Pradesh were presented to the guests.
100 crore people have heard at least once
100 crore people of the country have listened to PM Narendra Modi’s popular program ‘Mann Ki Baat’ at least once. 23 crore people regularly listen to ‘Mann Ki Baat’. IIM Rohtak has done a study on ‘Mann Ki Baat’. This study has been done by Prasar Bharati. It was revealed in this study that 17.6% people listen to Mann Ki Baat on radio. 44.7% people listen to TV and 37.6% people listen on mobile. Read full news…
Broadcast is also done in 11 foreign languages
CEO Dwivedi said that apart from 22 Indian languages and 29 dialects, Mann Ki Baat is broadcast in 11 foreign languages. These include French, Chinese, Indonesian, Tibetan, Burmese, Baluchi, Arabic, Pashtu, Persian, Dari, and Swahili. He said that Mann Ki Baat is being broadcast by more than 500 broadcasting stations of All India Radio.
PM’s Mann Ki Baat started on 3 October 2014 and is broadcast/ telecast on the last Sunday of every month at 11 am.
