GRP Inspector Vinod told that the incident took place on Friday night at 1.30 am. The Ayodhya-Delhi Express was going from Ayodhya to Delhi. The train halted at Shahjahanpur at night. It was told that a woman made noise of mobile theft. In this, the passengers started beating the young man on suspicion of theft. It is seen in the video that the accused also attacked the youth’s face.

Investigation also revealed that as soon as he fell from the train, the young man’s head hit the pillar of the OHE (Over Head Equipment) line and he died on the spot. Other passengers sitting in the bogie informed the police about the incident. The GRP arrested the accused Narendra Kumar Dubey as soon as the train reached Bareilly Junction.

The inspector said, “The video of this incident has come to the fore. The main accused Narendra Kumar is a native of Ayodhya, who lives on rent in Ghaziabad. Police is trying to identify other people who were involved with Narendra in the incident.” At present, Bareilly GRP has registered a case of murder in the matter. Efforts are being made to identify the dead body.”
