India canceled the visit of G-20 guests to Gulmarg keeping security in mind.

The G-20 meeting is starting from May 22 in Srinagar, Jammu and Kashmir. A day before that, NIA arrested a Jaish-e-Mohammed terrorist. The terrorist has been identified as Mohammad Ubaid Malik of Kupwara district.

According to the agency, Ubaid was in constant touch with a Pakistan-based Jaish-e-Mohammed commander. He was passing secret information about the movement of Indian soldiers and security forces to the terrorist organization.

Meanwhile, India canceled the Gulmarg visit of G-20 guests keeping security in mind. There was news that the terrorists are planning some big conspiracy there. Now after the arrest of a terrorist, security has been further tightened in Srinagar. The G-20 meeting is to be held at the Sher-e-Kashmir International Convention Center.

Elite NSG and Marine commandos have been deployed in Srinagar under tight security. The help of police and paramilitary forces is also being taken in the security of the program sites. Apart from this, scanners and sniffer dogs have been deployed to check for explosives or IEDs. According to officials, vehicles passing through the city are being checked to ensure that no explosives enter the city.

Terrorists can disturb the meeting
Inputs have been received from sources that terrorists may try to carry out some major attacks to disrupt the G20 event in Srinagar. The army is changing its strategy to prevent incidents like the recent attacks in Rajouri and Poonch. Ten army personnel, including five special force commandos, were killed in two separate attacks in this area in the past.

Ahead of the G20 meeting, a large number of suspects and separatists have been detained in different parts of Kashmir. Some have also been arrested. On the other hand, a large number of people in Kashmir are receiving repeated calls from British phone numbers as part of anti-G20 propaganda. The authorities have asked people to be alert and not respond to such suspicious calls.
