A dumper hit a bus carrying 40 baraatis in Jalaun. Due to the collision, the bus fell into a ditch on the roadside. 5 people died in the accident. While more than 15 baraatis are injured. The accident was so terrible that after the collision the roof of the bus got separated and fell on the other side of the road. Many baratis came out in a jolt and fell down. The incident is of Madhaugarh Kotwali area. The accident happened around 2 in the night.

The procession of two sons went to a house
It is being told that Sunil and Pramod, two sons of Mulcharan Pal, residents of Madeira, were married to Sandhya and Upasana, two daughters of Ramdhani of Rampura. All the baratis were returning by bus after attending the wedding on Saturday night. The bus (MP 30 P 1127) had reached near Gopalpura when an unknown vehicle hit it from the front. After the accident, there was a hue and cry on the spot. Due to darkness, the baraatis could not get help for a long time. Later the local people and passers-by informed the police.
DM Chandni Singh has reached the medical college to meet the injured in the accident.
The police reached the spot with great difficulty and rescued the people trapped in the bus. Admitted to Madhaugarh Community Health Center for treatment. There the doctors declared Kuldeep Singh (36), Raghunandan (46), Sirobhan (65), Karan Singh (34) and Vikas (32) brought dead. While the condition of many others was critical, they were referred to Orai Medical College. DM Chandni Singh reached the medical college to know about the condition of the injured people. The bus was taken out of Khanti on Sunday morning by means of a crane. Now only the frame is left in the bus.
Eyewitness Ravindra Singh told, ‘We had gone to the procession. After all the programs were done at night, we left there at night after having breakfast. The bus was coming easily. A dumper was coming from another side on the way. Which was pretty quick. That’s when the bus collided. I was in a light sleep at the time of the accident. Among those who died, three people are from our village. The bus and the conductor have also died.

Another eyewitness Ram Swaroop told, ‘There was a marriage of two sons of Mulcharan Pal of my village. In that we had gone. While returning the procession, a speeding dumper hit around 2 pm. There were 35 to 40 people in the bus. The impact of the collision was so severe that the driver’s side was completely damaged. It just stopped all of a sudden. The driver died on the spot. All the people on the driver’s side are injured.
The injured are undergoing treatment at the hospital.
Ignorance vehicle absconded after collision
SP Dr. Eraj Raja also reached the spot on the information of the accident. He told that we got information about the accident at 2 o’clock in the night. After this ambulance and policemen were sent. The dead bodies are being sent for postmortem after filling the panchnama. The driver along with the unknown vehicle fled after the accident. He is being traced from the CCTV installed nearby.
