The starting week unveiled the elimination of the actress Kiran Rathore. Subsequently, Shakila in the second week, singer Damini in the third week, Rathika, and Subhasree in the fourth week, and Nayani Pavani in the sixth week faced eliminations.
In the eighth week, Sandeep was eliminated, followed by Tasty Teja in the ninth week. Bhole exited the house in the tenth week. The eleventh week brought a twist as Bigg Boss announced no elimination round. Consequently, no contestant left the house in the eleventh week. The twelfth week witnessed a double elimination with Ashwini and Rathika’s exit and in the thirteenth week, Gautham left the house.
In the fourteenth week, all contestants, excluding Arjun, are up for elimination. Prashant, Shivaji, Amardeep, and Priyanka have been saved. Meanwhile, Shobha Shetty received fewer votes and was eliminated from the house.
With Shobha Shetty’s elimination, her fans expressed disappointment. Speculation surrounds Shetty’s remuneration for the 14 weeks, rumoured to be 2.5 lakhs per episode. Official confirmation is still awaited.
In an unofficial survey of the top five contenders this season, Pallavi Prashanth emerges as the frontrunner with a strong chance of securing the title. Shivaji is speculated to be a potential runner-up. The anticipated top five include Prashant, Shivaji, Arjun, Yavar, Priyanka, and Amar.
Unlike the previous six seasons, the voting policy for Bigg Boss has been revised. Viewers are now permitted to cast only one vote for their preferred contestant in the current season. The vote must be cast exclusively through the Hotstar app.
