After killing the parents and grandmother, the accused bought many things including new bed, wardrobe, AC, mobile. This made the neighbors suspicious as well.
The Chhattisgarh Police has arrested a youth for the murder of his parents and grandmother. The accused hit all three with a hockey stick and burnt the bodies with sanitizer and buried them in the yard of the house. Police say- the father of the accused was the principal of the Higher Secondary School, after killing him, he wanted a compassionate appointment in his place.

Deceased Prabhat Bhoi was Principal at Higher Secondary School Paikin, with wife Jharna Bhoi’s photo.
75-year-old grandmother Sulochana Bhoi was also killed by her merciless grandson.
Mahasamund SP Dharmendra Singh said that Prabhat Bhoi (52), a resident of village Putka in Saraipali block of the district, was the principal of Higher Secondary School, Pakin. Prabhat has two sons. The elder son is Udit (24) and the younger one is Amit. Amit is pursuing MBBS from Pt. Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, Raipur, while Udit is unemployed. Udit used to demand money from his parents. He used to fight with them for not getting the money.
First killed, then cleaned the house with phenyl
On not getting the money, Udit made a plan to kill his father and get a compassionate appointment in his place. There were also mother Jharna Bhoi (47) and grandmother Sulochana Bhoi (75) in the house, who were hindering his plan. So he made a plan to kill all three.
When all three were asleep at around 3 o’clock in the night of May 7, Udit killed all three by hitting them on the head with a hockey stick. After the murder, all the three dead bodies were hidden in the house. First cleaned the whole house with phenyl, then for the next 3 days slowly pouring sanitizer on the dead bodies of all three kept burning them.
Keeping the accused Udit Bhoi (24 years) in front, the police officers disclosed the case in a press conference.

After this, the accused lodged the missing report of parents and grandmother in the police station on 12th May. He had told that on May 8, all three had gone to Raipur for treatment. Haven’t come back from there yet. Here, the accused kept sending false messages from his father’s number to his brother and relatives about his recovery and return.
Unaccounted purchases, neighbors suspected
After killing all three, Udit started spending their money unaccountably. Bought many things including new bed, cupboard, AC, mobile in 4 days. This made his neighbors suspicious. Neighbors gave this information to the younger son.
The human bones recovered from the ashes have been sent by the police for investigation.
It was revealed when the younger son came home
Younger son Amit came to his village Putka after getting the information about his father’s missing from the neighbors. When he went towards the backyard behind the house, he found some burn mark. When the ashes were removed, bones were found in it. When Amit checked the entire house, he found blood splatters on the wall and blood stains in the bathroom as well.
A pile of ashes was also found from the pit made in the bari. He immediately called the police. The police had already suspected the elder son. After taking him into custody, he confessed to the crime. The hockey stick, sanitizer, lighter used in the murder have been recovered at his instance.
The accused had burnt the bodies of parents and grandmother right here behind the house.
The SP said that a team of forensic experts, medical officer from Saraipali, executive magistrate, dog squad and top police officials had inspected the accused’s house and the crime scene. The accused is also addicted to drugs. He has left studies and did not do any business.
