Sanjay Raut has made these remarks in Shiv Sena’s mouthpiece Saamana at a time when speculations are being made about Ajit Pawar joining hands with BJP.

Nationalist Congress Party (NCP) chief Sharad Pawar had recently told Uddhav Thackeray that his party would never join hands with the BJP. A person joining BJP will commit political suicide. Shiv Sena (Uddhav faction) leader Sanjay Raut made this comment in the weekly column Rokhtok of the mouthpiece Saamana.

This comment has been made at a time when speculations are rife about NCP leader Ajit Pawar joining hands with the state’s ruling party BJP. At the same time, the petition for disqualification of 16 MLAs of Shiv Sena led by CM Eknath Shinde is pending in the Supreme Court.

However, Maharashtra’s Leader of Opposition Ajit Pawar termed such speculations as baseless. Also denied meeting Union Home Minister Amit Shah on Saturday. The Nationalist Congress Party (NCP), Thackeray’s Shiv Sena (UBT) and the Congress are part of the opposition Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA) in the state.

Anyone who joins BJP will commit political murder.
Raut wrote in Saamana that Sharad Pawar told Uddhav in the meeting held on Tuesday that no one wants to go anywhere. We will never go with BJP as a party. But the family (alliance) is being targeted. In such a situation, if someone takes a personal decision, it will be a personal matter.

There is tremendous anger among the people of Maharashtra against the present state government. Those who will join BJP, their ED and CBI files will go in the cupboard but will not be closed. Raut further wrote that there is discussion in political circles that what will be the future of Ajit Pawar, he himself should clarify it.

Asked- What happened to ED’s raids on Ajit Pawar?
Sanjay Raut asked in Saamana that the ED had raided and seized the sugar mill of Ajit Pawar’s family. But, now there is no mention of Ajit Pawar or his family members in the charge sheet. What happened to the allegations of money laundering in the purchase of the sugar mill? Were the raids and charges just for political pressure? Shadar Pawar’s aide and former minister Hasan Mushrif was also targeted through the central agency.

Dada Bhuse said – anything can happen
State minister Dada Bhuse, a member of the Shiv Sena (Shinde faction), on Sunday said Ajit Pawar has been restless in the NCP for many years. We all know it. So anything can happen. On the other hand, when Ajit Pawar was asked about his political statement in Nagpur, he said that I am reading comments about myself by ministers Dada Bhuse, Gulabrao Patil, Uday Samant.

Ajit said that I cannot understand why so much love is pouring in for me. We are working to unite Maha Vikas Aghadi (MVA). Along with this, Ajit Pawar termed the comments being made about him as baseless. There is no need to spread unnecessary rumors about me.
