Arvind Kejriwal reached the CBI office on Sunday morning at 11.10 am for questioning in the Delhi liquor policy case.

Delhi Chief Minister Arvind Kejriwal is being questioned in the CBI office for the last 5 hours in the liquor policy case. He reached the agency’s office on Sunday morning at 11.10 am. At the same time, the police have detained more than 6 AAP MLAs protesting against the questioning of Kejriwal.

Several ministers of the Delhi government, party MPs and Punjab CM Bhagwant Mann went to see Kejriwal at the CBI office. Later these leaders started protesting outside the CBI office itself. After which many leaders including Raghav Chadha and Sanjay Singh were taken into custody by the police.

On the other hand, in view of CBI’s questioning of Delhi CM Kejriwal, Aam Aadmi Party’s Delhi convenor Gopal Rai called an emergency meeting. In which party’s National Secretary Pankaj Gupta, Delhi Mayor Shelly Oberoi and Deputy Mayor Aale Mohammad Iqbal are also present.

Raghav Chadda called BJP Kansa
AAP leader Raghav Chadha has called Arvind Kejriwal as Lord Krishna and BJP as Kansa. He said that Kansa knew that Lord Shri Krishna would destroy him and therefore he hatched many conspiracies to harm Shri Krishna. Similarly BJP knows that Aam Aadmi Party will be the reason for their downfall.

Before going to the CBI office, Kejriwal reached Rajghat and paid tribute to Mahatma Gandhi. The CM of Punjab was also with him.

Kejriwal said that they (BJP) are very powerful people, they can send anyone to jail, whether they have committed any crime or not. Since yesterday, all the BJP leaders are saying that they will arrest Kejriwal. Perhaps the BJP has also ordered the arrest of the CBI.

One thousand security personnel deployed at CBI office
In view of Kejriwal’s appearance, around 1000 security personnel have been deployed around the CBI office. At the same time, deployment of Central Security Force has also been done.

On the other hand, BJP spokesperson Sambit Patra has accused Arvind Kejriwal of being involved in corruption in a press conference.

CBI is active for 8 months in Delhi liquor policy case
The CBI had registered a case on August 17, 2022 regarding irregularities in the Delhi liquor policy case. In this case, former Delhi Deputy CM Manish Sisodia was arrested first by the CBI and then by the ED. He is currently in ED custody. His bail will be heard on April 18.
