Sachin Pilot called a press conference on Sunday at his Jaipur home. In this, he also showed some statements of CM Gehlot related to the investigation of corruption.
In Rajasthan, Sachin Pilot has once again raised questions on the government of his own party. Pilot called a press conference on Sunday. He said, “I had complained to Chief Minister Gehlot against former CM Vasundhara Raje, but Gehlot did not take any action.” In protest against this, the pilots will go on a one-day fast at the Martyr’s Memorial in Jaipur on 11 April. On the other hand, after the announcement of Sachin Pilot’s fast, Congress General Secretary and Head of Communications Jairam Ramesh issued a statement praising CM Ashok Gehlot.
Pilot said, “No action was taken on corruption in the Vasundhara government. While being in the opposition, we had promised that an inquiry would be conducted. There are 6-7 months left for the election, the opponents can spread confusion that there is some collusion.” Action will have to be taken soon to prove that it is not. So that Congress workers feel that there is no difference between our words and actions.
Pilot said these big things in the press conference
1. Raised the issue of scams worth 45 thousand crores
Pilot had called a press conference at his home in Jaipur. He said, “While in the opposition during the Vasundhara government, we had raised our voice about scams worth Rs 45,000 crore and had promised that if our government comes to power, we will get these scams investigated in a fair manner and punish the guilty.”
2. Urged Gehlot, had also written a letter
He said, “I never asked for malicious action, but our credibility as the opposition has to be maintained. I had requested CM Gehlot. Wrote the first letter on March 28, 2022. No response was received on that.” Then wrote another letter. There was no response to that either. The central government has been targeting the people of the opposition for some time now. 95 per cent of the leaders who were served notices or raided by the ED are from the opposition.”
3. People trust us in elections, so action is necessary
Sachin Pilot said, ‘What is the reason that despite coming to power again and again, we do not take any action on the allegations made by us while in the opposition. When we go to the polls again, someone should believe us, so it is important that we take some action.”
5. If there is no investigation, how will we know who is the culprit?
He said, “Ashok Gehlot and I had made allegations together, how will we know until there is a fair investigation. If it comes out in the investigation that no one was guilty, then we will accept that Gehlotji and I were liars. Until the case is registered, how will people believe whether the allegations made by us are true or false.”
6. Suggestion was also given to the high command
Pilot said, “One of the suggestions I gave to the high command regarding Rajasthan was that action should be taken against the allegations of corruption and scams that we made while in the opposition. Allegations were made only to bake the loaves of the election. Despite the passage of four and a quarter years, no action has been taken till date.
Pilot will fast for a day
Pilot said- ‘I wrote letters to CM Ashok Gehlot on 28 March 2022 and 2 November 2020. No action has been taken so far. April 11 is the birth anniversary of famous social reformer Jyotiba Rao Phule, on the same day I will go on a one-day fast at the martyr’s memorial. I have informed the district administration about this. The public is Janardan.
Khachariawas said – What did the pilot say wrong, he has raised the right issue
Food Minister Pratap Singh Khachariawas has supported Sachin Pilot. Khachariawas said – what did the pilot say wrong? Raised the right issue. He has sought answers against BJP’s corruption, the government should answer the issues raised by him.
If the pilot has raised any voice, it is his own voice. The voice has come from somewhere, we don’t have to follow the central path, we have to listen to the voice. Our senior leader has raised his voice against the corruption of BJP, so he should be answered. Now what did the pilot not even say? While being the District President along with Pilot, I had organized agitations against the corruption of BJP.
Khachariawas said – The pilot had met me today only. We both fought together, only after that the government was formed. I have neither a fight with Pilot nor with Ashok Gehlot. The assets of the party have raised questions. He is serious, he should get an answer.
Jairam Ramesh praised Gehlot after Pilot’s statement
Jairam Ramesh said, Chief Minister Ashok Gehlot of the Congress government of Rajasthan has implemented a large number of schemes and has taken many such initiatives which have deeply affected the people. Because of this the leadership position is ours.
