A heart-wrenching incident has come to light from Bokaro in Jharkhand. It is being told that here a man killed his wife only because she refused him to drink alcohol. The accused beat the wife to death. It is being claimed that the deceased woman was his 12th wife.
According to media reports, the accused has been identified as Ram Chandra Turi. The name of the deceased woman is being told as Savitri Devi. Ram Chandra has done many marriages. Not a single wife could stay with him because of his drunken nature. Everyone left him because of the quarrels. Turi was married to Savitri 20 years back. He also has four children. One of the children works as a laborer in Hyderabad. The remaining three had gone to the wedding ceremony on the day of the incident.
According to the information, Ramchandra Turi had returned home after drinking alcohol on the day of the incident. When he again started drinking alcohol in the house, Savitri Devi forbade him to do so. Getting angry, he started beating his wife with a stick. She fainted. He kept beating her till she stopped breathing. It is being told that the neighbors informed the police. Police reached the spot and arrested Ram Chandra Turi after investigation.
