A traffic constable named Rajasekhar gave CPR to a person named Balaji. The video of the incident is going viral.

An on-duty traffic constable in Telangana saved a man’s life by giving CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation). This person had fallen on the road due to heart attack. The traffic policeman, showing agility, applied pressure on his heart till his breath returned. The video of the incident is now going viral on social media.

Constable Rajasekhar of Cyberabad Traffic Police is being praised everywhere these days.

According to the police, as soon as the man named Balaji got down from the bus at Rajendranagar, he suffered a heart attack and collapsed on the road. A traffic constable named Rajasekhar spotted him and without losing any time started giving him CPR. They kept on giving him CPR for about 2 minutes.

Meanwhile, signs of recovery were seen in Balaji. Foam also came out of his mouth. Rajasekhar unbuttoned his shirt so that he was not suffocating. Cleaned Balaji’s mouth with it so that he doesn’t have trouble breathing. When he regained consciousness and started breathing, he was shifted to the hospital. Presently his condition is improving.

Balaji, who regained consciousness after CPR, was immediately admitted to the hospital, where he is undergoing treatment.

Rajasekhar is being praised everywhere
DGP of Telangana Police tweeted- ‘Telangana Police’s firm commitment towards the public. The speed and effectiveness with which CPR was administered by Cyberabad traffic police constable Rajasekhar saved the life of a man who was on the verge of death. I admire the bravery of Rajasekhar.

Actor Chiranjeevi also tweeted in praise of Rajasekhar. He wrote, ‘Salute to Constable Rajasekhar of Cyberabad Traffic Police, whose alertness and CPR saved a life. Rajasekhar showed compassion towards fellow human being by going beyond his duty. By doing this, he has presented an example of humanity and friendly police that cares for the people.

State frontline workers will get CPR training from next week
State Finance Minister, Health and Family Welfare Harish Rao Thanniru while praising Rajasekhar said that the cases of heart-attack are increasing. In such a situation, the Telangana government will provide CPR training to all frontline employees and workers from next week.
