A meeting of the United Kisan Morcha (SKM) will be held today at Gurudwara Dera Kar Sewa in Karnal district of Haryana. Big farmer leaders from across the country will participate in the meeting. The meeting will start at 11 am. Farmer leader Rakesh Tikait is likely to attend the meeting. Apart from Tikait, farmer leaders from all over the country including Darshan Pal, Joginder Singh Ugrah will participate.
Let us inform that even before this, on December 8, a meeting of SKM was held at Dera Kar Sewa Gurudwara. At that time the leaders of many farmer organizations did not attend the meeting. Because of which the farmer leaders had decided to hold the meeting again on 24th December. Farmer leaders of all the organizations are expected to reach this meeting today.
The movement was made on 26 January consent
In the last meeting, all the farmer leaders had agreed to agitate on 26th January. On which it was decided that the movement would definitely be organized on 26th January, but what would be its form, where would it be organized. A meeting has been called again today to decide whether it will be held at one place or in different parts.
This is the main demands of the farmers
– Making MSP law.
Demand to remove the minister from his post after framing of charges on the son of the minister accused of Lakhimpur incident.
– During the movement, the cases filed against farmers across the country should be withdrawn.
