India captain Rohit Sharma has now been ruled out of the second Test match against Bangladesh. While earlier he was not available for the first Test match and a call on his availability for the Dhaka Test had to be taken on a later date, a report carried by Cricbuzz claims that the 35-year-old will not play the second Test after it was found out that his thumb, which he had injured in the second ODI against Bangladesh, hasn’t healed completely.
In Rohit’s absence, vice-captain KL Rahul, who led India to victory in the opening Test match at Chattogram, will continue to lead the team in the second Test.
