Sometimes it seemed that he did not know anything. During interrogation, it was felt that he was trying to mislead the police. Even after all this, but when different teams questioned him, many things became clear. It was only then that the need was felt to arrest him (Sonali Phogat’s PA Sudhir). Even after getting the rest of the things and scientific evidence from the post-mortem report, it will help in taking the investigation forward.
Panel constituted for post mortem
According to the same officer of Goa Police, a panel (board) of forensic science experts has been constituted for the post-mortem. The board of doctors will do the post-mortem of the dead body. It is possible that if the suspicion of any suspected poison comes out, then the post-mortem team (doctors) will seal the viscera sample and send it for examination. In that case, we may have to wait a bit to proceed with the investigation till the viscera report comes. However, the investigating officer of the case is expected to be present at the spot during the post-mortem. If the panel allows it to happen!” Why does the investigating officer want to be present with the team of doctors during the post-mortem?
Meaning of police presence

Forensic science experts included in the panel who conducted the post-mortem to the investigating officer on the spot, can also show and tell (brief) a lot by mouth. Accordingly, all the other facts already available with us (Goa Police teams engaged in the investigation) can also help us to match the post-mortem opinion in a short time. That’s why the needle of doubt turned
In fact, according to the Goa Police officers involved in the investigation of the case, the needle of suspicion is roaming on Sonali’s PA Sudhir (who has been arrested) and the hotel itself. The police suspect that in the hotel where Sonali stayed, something wrong had started from there. Secondly, the information obtained from Sonali’s family, especially her sister Rupesh, has also helped the Goa Police a lot in the investigation of this case. On Monday evening, Sonali Phogat’s phone call reached sister Rupesh. Rupesh said, “Sonali wanted to talk to me on WhatsApp. But she (Sonali) suddenly disconnected the call.”

According to the developments, Sonali Phogat’s health suddenly deteriorated when she was having food at a restaurant located in Goa. On being taken to the hospital, the doctors declared Sonali dead. Doctors had speculated that Sonali Phogat died of a heart attack (possibly a cardiac arrest). By Tuesday evening (the accident happened on Monday night), Goa Police registered a case of suspicious death (unnatural death). Then suddenly the story changed. When asked, Dr. Mishra said, “The way she (Sonali Phogat) died suddenly.” How will the doctors who conducted Sonali’s post-mortem decide whether it is a case of natural or unnatural death? When asked forensic science expert Dr. B.N. Mishra said, “If there is a heart attack, cardiac arrest and brain hemorrhage, there will be blood pooling in the veins. Which we also call blockage in medical science. Apart from this, blood can also be found somewhere in the brain.
If poison was given then….
He further said, “As far as the matter or apprehension of the use of poison in this case is concerned, the poison can be delivered to any human in three ways. through the ear, nose and mouth. If the poison was given through the nose and ears (which is likely to be one or two percent in the case of Sonali Phogat’s death), then that place very quickly affects the brain directly. Due to which the blood circulation gets disrupted. And a person starts having trouble breathing in the same way as in the case of heart attack or cardiac arrest. Due to this, the person automatically suffocates (without throttling or pressing the nose by anyone). And it also becomes difficult to take a person to the hospital. As in Sonali Phogat’s case I am seeing recently. However, I cannot say with certainty that it must have happened. It could be a possibility.”
Looking for these facts in the postmortem report
In the second case, “It is possible that the poison that Sonali Phogat had mixed with food or water would have been delivered to the stomach through the mouth, so the structure inside the dead body during the post-mortem or, say, the situation would have been different. which can be seen clearly. For example, if a strong poison like sulfas has been used, then as soon as the stomach is opened, it will have an unbearable smell. If any other type of poison would have been used, even if it did not smell strong. But that poison must have left its effect inside the stomach, stomach, intestines. Due to which there must have been blue and black marks inside. What will be the role of viscera report in Sonali Phogat’s case? On asking Dr. B. N. Mishra said, “When during the post-mortem, neither the stench came to confirm the poison inside the body. Nor should any blue-black stains appear in the inner parts of the body.
