JNU Vice Chancellor Shantisree Dhulipudi Pandit on Monday called Lord Shiva a Shudra. He said that no god is a brahmin. Lord Shiva must be from SC or ST, as he sits in the crematorium. He further said that according to Manusmriti, all women are Shudras, hence no woman can claim that she is Brahmin or anything else.

Unknown people opened fire in Delhi, 2 killed, 2 injured

In the capital Delhi on Monday night, unknown people opened fire on 4 people sitting together in JJ Colony area. In this incident 2 people died and 2 people got injured. The brother of one of the deceased told that 2 people came with covered face and opened fire on my brother and 2 other elders sitting with him. The police have registered a case and started investigation into the matter.

Section 144 imposed in Patna after violent protest over teacher’s post

In Patna, teacher candidates demonstrated violently over the delay in recruitment. The police lashed out at the protesters with lathis. After this, Section 144 has been imposed in the district.

Section-144 has been implemented in the restricted areas of Patna Sadar area for the next 3 days. It will cover the areas of Dakbangla Square, Gandhi Maidan, Bailey Road and Boring Road.
