Jharkhand: Two vehicles collided on National Highway-75, 27 injured

On Sunday, 27 people were injured in a head-on collision of two vehicles on National Highway-75 in Jharkhand.

Abhinav Kumar, officer-in-charge of Kudu police station said that two seriously injured people have been taken to Rajendra Institute of Medical Sciences, Ranchi, while others have been admitted to the Community Health Centre.

Kumar said the collision took place between a passenger van and a vehicle carrying rice on the Kudu-Chandwa main road.

The police have seized both the vehicles and have started investigation, the official said. After the incident, traffic on the national highway was disrupted for about an hour, he said.
