National Democratic Alliance (NDA) presidential candidate Draupadi Murmu is on a tour of Jharkhand. Murmu reached Ranchi on Monday and participated in the meeting of NDA MPs and MLAs at Hotel Chanakya BNR. In the meeting that lasted for nearly two hours, Draupadi Murmu got emotional while discussing her association with Jharkhand.
He said that I have an old relation with Jharkhand. My grandfather and ancestors also stayed here. The blood of Jharkhand runs in my veins too. She said that she was surprised when she was made the presidential candidate. After the meeting, Murmu also met the school children. He was also presented with a painting made by the children himself. Draupathi Murmu will leave for Patna tour on Tuesday.

Draupadi Murmu has a long association with Jharkhand. She served as the Governor of Jharkhand from 18 May 2015 to 12 July 2021.

Draupadi Murmu will leave for Patna tour soon after Jharkhand tour. She will reach Patna at 10 am and will leave for the next stop by 1.30 pm. Murmu will seek support from Bihar MPs and MLAs in the presidential election here.
