The death of senior IAS officer Sanjay Popli’s son Karthik has created a political ruckus in Punjab. Attacking the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) government, the Congress said that a drama of legal process has been made in Punjab. At the same time, the Aam Aadmi Party came to the rescue of the government.

The AAP spokesperson said that Karthik’s death was sad but the government’s war against corruption would continue. The team of Punjab Vigilance had come to the IAS Popli’s house located in Sector 11 of Chandigarh on Saturday afternoon to make recovery. During this, Karthik died of bullet injuries.
