Gangster Lawrence is being taken to Mansa under tight security.
Notorious gangster Lawrence will appear in Mansa court this evening. For this, the Kharar police is taking him in a bulletproof vehicle under tight security. Lawrence has been brought from Tihar Jail by Punjab Police on production warrant. He is being questioned in connection with the murder of Punjabi singer Sidhu Moosewala. Earlier, he got 7 days remand from Mansa court. However, during his interrogation, the police could get only the names of two gangsters and the whereabouts of Goldie Brar.
Delhi Police arrested Priyavart Fauji and Kashish, the sharp shooters who killed Musewala from near Mundra Port in Gujarat yesterday. Keshav, who helped them escape with them, was also caught.
Weapons linked to Pakistan
The strings of weapons used in the murder of Musewala are connecting with Pakistan. During the interrogation of Delhi Police, it has been learned that these weapons were procured through drones. The weapons recovered by Delhi Police yesterday were only for backup. The weapons with which Musewala was killed are yet to be known. These weapons were provided to sharp shooter Priyavart Fauji through drones. The soldier also told that he came in touch with Goldie Brar through Monu Dagar, who was caught in the murder case.
AK series weapons, grenades and detonators were recovered from the sharp shooters who killed Musewala.
‘Operation Vardi’ was the code of massacre
Musewala’s murder code was kept as ‘Operation Vardi’. In fact, Lawrence’s Canadian-sitting fellow gangster Goldie Brar had planned to kill Musewala by entering his house. Police uniform was also taken for this. According to sources, 3 Sikh youths of tall stature from Punjab were groomed for this. The planning was that the police would go to Musewala’s house in uniform and shoot him. However this was not possible.
Sidhu Musewala was shot dead in Mansa on 29 May. At that time he was going to the relative’s house in a Thar jeep without security.
There was planning even 2 days ago, the shooters were not ready
Sharp shooters had already reached Mansa to kill Musewala. During the interrogation of Delhi Police, sharp shooters told that even on May 27, Moosewala had come out in the car without security. He wanted to attack Moosewala at the same time but the shooters were not ready. Because of which this plan failed. Earlier, there was a plan to kill Moosewala during a kabaddi tournament as well. She too could not make ends meet. On May 29, when Musewala went in a Thar jeep instead of a bulletproof Fortuner without security, sharp shooters killed him near Jawaharke village in Mansa.
Police will bring Fauji and Kashish to Punjab
Police will bring the arrested sharp shooters Priyavart Fauji and Kashish of Special Cell of Delhi Police to Punjab. Preparations are being made to bring both of them along with their Bathinda-based partner Keshav on production warrant. At present, all three are on remand with Delhi Police. After his remand is over, he will be brought to Punjab for questioning.
