On June 12, the house of Javed Pump, the main accused of Prayagraj violence, was demolished by the administration through a bulldozer. The family alleges that the house was in the name of Javed’s wife Parveen Fatima. Parveen was given a house by her father as a gift. The answer of the administration is that whatever action has been taken, it has been done within the ambit of the law.
Regarding this action, we spoke to Javed’s side with his younger daughter Sumaiya Fatima and lawyer KK Rai. In this conversation, he talked about stone pelting, house demolition and arrest of Javed’s elder daughter Afreen Fatima. Let’s know the whole thing.

Javed’s daughter Sumaiya told, ‘Abbu returned home at 2 pm on the day of June 10, ie Friday. After his return, we were having dinner together, when we saw in the TV that violence broke out in one area of the city. His phone started ringing continuously. He immediately put up a post on Facebook appealing people to maintain peace and help the administration.
When he went to offer Namaz in the evening, 15 policemen came to the house and asked about Abbu. I said, it is not there, then Abbu came. The policemen told Abbu, you have been called by the SHO sahib. Go to the police station immediately. He went to the police station on his scooty. He did not return even after two hours, when one of our acquaintances came and asked us for medicine. We packed their medicines and gave them. Abbu was a sugar patient and used to get insulin injections after meals.

After giving the medicine, we felt a bit strange, maybe there was a fear of something untoward. The hands of the clock were ringing at 12 midnight, when someone knocked on the door and rang the doorbell. Going out and seeing, once again the police was standing at the door. He asked everyone’s introduction and asked to go to the police station. We were all very worried about Abbu. We went to the police station with him, he kept us in the police station for 30 hours. They had collected our phones. The next evening, after about 18 hours, he gave his phone and said that the house is going to be vacated.

Sumaiya further said, when we came to our house after 30 hours on the morning of June 12, we saw on TV that Abbu had been made the mastermind of the violence. Watching the house in which we spent our childhood, played and played, where we had been living for 20 years, on TV was like laying a stone on the heart. The police had pasted the backdate notice in the night itself. Whereas the land was in my mother’s name. Which was gifted by my maternal grandfather. We used to pay electricity bill, water tax and house tax all in the name of Ammi.

On the question of writing Lynchistan in the Twitter profile of elder sister Afreen Fatima, Sumaiya said that the family whose house is destroyed in front of her eyes, whose father should be sent to jail without informing. The government is responsible for writing Lynchistan, because it has created such situations.
Our father’s age is 55 years. He has always been with the administration. My sister does not know more worldliness than her, she has seen more trouble than us. He guides us. This theory of the police is completely concocted that the sister has guided them to violence.

My sister Afreen Fatima has studied from Aligarh Muslim University and has also been the President there. She has been a counselor in JNU. All we had to say was that the way the police interacted completely changed. It seemed as if studying in JNU is a crime.
Afreen Fatima is also a student activist. He participated in many places in the CAA-NRC Protest.
Nothing we saw in live TV turned out to be objectionable. Abbu was associated with the Welfare Party of India and there is nothing objectionable about his banner poster.
The Rashid of his party was found from the rubble of Javed Pump’s house.
Relationship with AIMIM District President Shah Alam is not good for 10 years, good relations with police
Sumaiya told that his family relations with AIMIM district president Shah Alam were fine earlier, but there is no relation with him for the last 10 years. On the question of relationship with the police, Sumaiya told that the police had a good relationship with him. That’s when they came to call, trusting them and went away.
The police also always treated them. It was from both sides. But we still do not understand how the attitude of the police changed suddenly.

Deliberately chose Sunday, preparing to file regular petition in Supreme Court
Sumaiya said, when we came to know that this house is in the name of his wife, then lawyers of Advocate Manch held an emergency meeting. We sent the letter petition to the honorable court, by the time our petition reached, the house was demolished. The government deliberately chose the second Saturday i.e. Saturday and Sunday so that the court would be closed and we could not go to the court. When the court opened on Monday, we were asked to file a regular petition.
The process of preparing the regular petition is going on. Some seniors like Prashant Bhushan have advised us to go to the Supreme Court. Further proceedings will be revealed soon.
KK Rai, who is fighting the case of Javed Pump, told that now the battle will be fought in the Supreme Court.
The same petition was filed by Javed’s lawyer in the High Court.
