A woman has been found dead with serious injuries to her face in a suspected attack of domestic violence.
The body of the 38-year-old was found around 5 am on Thursday in a flat on Bondi Beach, the wounds of which are suspicious to the police.
A person who knew the victim is being questioned at Waverly police station but no charges have been filed.
Police are investigating whether the woman’s injuries were caused by a domestic violence attack in the four-story O’Brien Street apartment block.
‘NSW Ambulance paramedics attended and treated the 38-year-old woman. Police said he could not be saved and died on the spot.
The area has been cordoned off by the police during the investigation of the incident.
