Jacqueline Fernandez reveals she was in therapy after suffering from loneliness – Times of India

Jacqueline Fernandez has always been known for her positive mindset. But there was a time when she had to face the mental stress of loneliness and it happened during the first lockdown in 2020. The actress recently appeared on Shilpa Shetty Kundra’s talk show and revealed many secrets about her personal life. Jacqueline also revealed that she had to reach out to a therapist, and the sessions really helped her sail through the tough time.

Sharing her thoughts on this subject the popular actress claimed that there are so many people who live alone while their families are far away from them. So, there’s no one to talk to. It was exactly the same for Jacqueline as she doesn’t like to bother people discussing her own problems or issues. She never talks about anything sad or depressing while with friends or even family, because she’s not that kind of person who lets people know that she is struggling or sad or lonely. So, to get out of this situation the actress had to seek help and she met with an amazing therapist and was doing therapy for some time. It worked wonders after some time.

She further told Shilpa that many people think therapy doesn’t work but actually, it’s their self-reflection that most of us tend to ignore.

Speaking about how she handles trolls, Jacqueline said that she has now learned to not let the bad experiences turn her into a bad person. Sometimes we see something written randomly and there’s no one to clarify it. It leads to a mental war within a person and this affects one badly. The Bollywood actress says this can turn people into a horrible person or untrustworthy. So, after all these years she has now learned to stay positive despite all those online bullying.

For the unversed, Jacqueline was recently dragged into a controversy after she was linked to alleged conman Suresh Chandrashekhar’s Rs 200 crore money laundering case.

On the work front, the actress is eagerly waiting for the release of Akshay Kumar‘s’ Bachchhan Paandey’ and John Abraham’s ‘Attack’.
