A woman aboard a private luxury bus was gutted to death in Gujarat’s Surat city on Tuesday night. A video of this has surfaced, in which the woman is pleading for help by spreading her hands outside the window. This can distract you. Surat’s Chief Fire Brigade Officer Basant Parik said that preliminary investigation has revealed that the fire in the bus was caused by a short circuit. The heat had increased as the wiring continued to burn, causing the AC compressor to explode and the fire spread very rapidly.

The fire was so strong that people who came for help were not even able to go near the bus.

There were 15 passengers in the bus. Most of them jumped out and came out.

According to locals, when the bus started its journey from Katargam area to Bhavnagar, there were very few passengers in it. Parik said that when the bus reached Hirabagh circle around 9.30 pm to pick up more passengers, the rear side of the bus caught fire after a sudden spark and explosion.

The driver of another bus coming from behind had informed the driver of this bus. The driver immediately stopped the bus and asked the passengers to get off the bus. But within 2-3 minutes the entire bus was engulfed in fire and burnt down.
