Palanpur: A sweeper working at the market yard in Palanpur, Banaskantha, hanged himself to death on Thursday. Police said that the deceased Revabhai Vaghela (60) was suffering from tuberculosis (TB) for a long time.
He took the extreme step as he was tired of the suffering due to the disease.
According to police, Vaghela was found hanging by the railing outside the office of the District Purchase and Sales Association at the Palanpur market yard.
Police inspector B K Chaudhary said the primary investigation revealed that Vaghela hanged himself to death as he was suffering from TB for a long time.
