In an encounter with security forces on the Chhattisgarh-Telangana border on Monday morning, the soldiers killed 6 Naxalites, including the LOS commander. The bodies of the slain Naxalites have been recovered. These include 4 women and 2 men. Weapons and other items were recovered from near the dead bodies. This has been confirmed by Sunil Dutt, SP of Bhadradri Kothagudem district in Telangana. Still waiting for more details.

According to the information, the Gray Hound Force personnel had gone out on a search in Bhadradri Kottagudem district of Telangana adjoining the state. During this, the Naxalites who ambushed the Chennapur forest of Charla area opened fire. The soldiers also retaliated. The Naxalites fled from there after a brief encounter. Bodies of 6 Naxalites have been recovered during the search. One of them has been identified as LOS Commander Madhu. Search is on in the area.

Telangana DGP inspected 10 days ago
It is being told that Telangana DGP Mahender Reddy had secretly inspected the area and visited the forests 10 days ago. After getting information that Maoists are present in Charla area. After this the strategy of encounter was made. This information was given to Bhadradri Kothagudem District Police as well as Khammam District Police and Chhattisgarh Police. 10 days later, the operation was launched against the Naxalites.
