Husband drunk on mobile games all day. He does not listen even if it is forbidden. One of the brides committed suicide out of pride. The incident took place at Dattabad near Kolkata. The deceased was identified as Pew Hazra. Bidhannagar South Police have arrested accused husband Sanjay Haldar.
According to the family of the accused youth, Sanjay got married to Pew Hazra (18), a resident of Tangra, Kolkata last August. After the marriage, Pew used to object to playing games on her husband’s mobile phone. But Sanjay, who is addicted to mobile games, did not listen to those words. With this the marital quarrel between the two would continue.
The two also had a dispute over this on Wednesday afternoon. After that Sanjay left the house. On the other hand, after taking a bath, Pew entered his house with pujo. After not responding for some time, the family members entered the house and saw that he had committed suicide by hanging himself. The bride was rescued and taken to Bidhannagar Sub-Divisional Hospital where doctors declared her dead.
After that, the family of the deceased lodged a complaint against Sanjay at Bidhannagar South Police Station for torturing the bride and inciting suicide. Police arrested the accused youth.
